Artist's Comments
This is quite possibly, the best of anything I've ever drawn.
My favourite parts are Noata's head region, with the powerful glow around it, and the symbol on his head. (Which I drew from memory, so sorry if it's not exactly the same n_n;; ) Mixing in all the different shades of red and pink and purple was a bit troublesome at first, but it became managable as time went on. I'm surprized how nicely Canti turned out. It took about 10 minutes to draw him, and I love how he turned out. X3 The only parts I don't love about this piece, is the shading on the V-guitar (Because it's too white), and the background could have been a bit more epic. But overall, I love this picture, as it was the extremely fun to draw, and the end product is one that I'm truly satisfied with. Best if viewed while listening to "I think I Can" By the Pillows. ---Flcl, And it's charecters all belong to the creative geniuses behind them; Yōji Enokido and Kazuya Tsurumaki. I really like that too, but I wish the rest of the steam was as noticable as it is around the head and upper torso. The same goes for the glowing purple energy.. But I still loves it! X3

And even besides that blending of the main character with the background, in my opinion, it is still great work...

I know that this is different compaired to my other work, but this picture wasn't supposed to be done in just black and white, it had to a have really warm colour scheme to convay the idea of how much energy this kid has.
In my black and white works, the sharp contrast increases the overall intensity at first glance, but you can lose the deep feeling within (Warm, Cold, ect.)
The only feeling that black and white truly convays perfectly (to me personaly) is death, sadness, or darkness. That is why most of my work is dark, because the style I draw in is dark.
But I'm glad you enjoy it, I was trying something different in this piece.
